The first part of Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone, and with it came a surprise from Team ONIBE! With season 2 of the anime incorporating their own version of First Live “with You”, they decided to drop their 1L sub just in time for season 2’s tie-in live.
I’m surprised at how much the file size just dropped on this one. Usually I might get ~10 GB savings by re-encoding it in H.265, but this encode more than halved it, coming in at a lean 21 GB and some change. I do also plan on doing a 720p version for those that need the extra space, but I need to make sure that encode job doesn’t bump into Next Tokimeki, as that’ll be my top priority once I can grab the archives of those.
This has been tested with the latest versions of VLC Media Player and MPV as of 9/13/22.
