Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 2nd Live Brand New Story + Back to the TOKIMEKI [720p h.265]

ONIBE dropped quite the throwback on us. This was Nijigasaki’s 2nd Live, in what should have been a celebration with fans. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, that plan had to be changed. This live would be one of the main introductions into the crowdless lives we would learn to love and watch evolve throughout the numerous lockdown periods, but it would also be one of the main introductions of the concept of overseas online live streams for these major live events, which has carried through today.

This was my first proper foray into Nijigasaki. I wound up skipping Brand New Story at the time, but finally decided to give them a shot when Back to the TOKIMEKI came around. The rest, as they say, is history (though I allowed history repeat itself with Hasu… when will I learn?).

This re-encode has managed to cut out roughly 52GB from the original files while still maintaining visual fidelity, and is 10GB smaller than the 1080p version of the encode.

This has been tested with the latest versions of VLC Media Player and MPV as of 7/8/2024.

Love Live! Series Presents Unit Koshien 2024 (1080p)

I know I always open with this, but what a weekend.

I really hope the LoveLive! Series does more cross-series events because this was so much fun. We got to see each group show off a selection of their own units’ songs, as well as participate in some pretty insane collabs?

We got to sneak peek the new Liella subunit songs on D1, had a typical DiverDiva moment on D2, got SAINT AQOURS SNOW for the first time in years (to a massive crowd reaction as well!!), and (my personal favorites) Nonfiction and Deep Resonance collabs during D2’s extra innings portion. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Everyone killed it, even despite a couple groups being shorthanded.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club UNIT LIVE! ~DiverDiva GALactic Trip~ (Day.1&2)

MIRAI! NEGAI! ZIYU! ZIZAI!

What a weekend! DiverDiva blasted this show out of the park and then some! We got almost everything from their catalog, some fun callbacks, a lot of Nacchan blushing (sometimes being the architect of her own downfall), and…an extraterrestrial fashion show in Shibuya?

I’m so happy to see how far everyone has progressed so far through their unit live performances, and DD is no exception. Comparing their current states to how they were during their very first live show, it’s night and day.

Apologies ahead of time for any quality issues. This was ripped from PIA, so we get to deal with the quality they provided us for the VOD.
