What a weekend! DiverDiva blasted this show out of the park and then some! We got almost everything from their catalog, some fun callbacks, a lot of Nacchan blushing (sometimes being the architect of her own downfall), and…an extraterrestrial fashion show in Shibuya?

I’m so happy to see how far everyone has progressed so far through their unit live performances, and DD is no exception. Comparing their current states to how they were during their very first live show, it’s night and day.

I’m still recovering from this live.

To say that was the most emotional Love Live! live in a long, long time is an understatement. What a night though. We got many fan favorites, some amazing solos, and the last CHASE! by Tomoriru.

While this marks the end of an era, it also marks the start of a new one. I hope everyone supports the new Setsuna just as much as everyone, myself included, have supported and will continue to support Riru’s projects.

Get tissues ready, especially for day 2. There was nary a dry eye by the end of this live.

WOW!

I honestly cannot say I expected what happened this past weekend to happen. R3BIRTH Shuffle Fes? Check! Zensoku Dreamer Hell Ver. again? Yup! Vroom Vroom and the b-sides finally being performed live? You bet! Basically, to say this live exceeded my expectations is an understatement, and I’m so happy these three are a combo. Chaotic as they may be sometimes, they put on one hell of a show!

Go recharge your Tokimeki energy with R3BIRTH in the first of four unit lives. Although they haven’t announced whether there will be a stream for the other three units, if there is like I expect there to be, I’ll be purchasing admission to all of them.

Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone! 🙁

We’ve just wrapped up the most recent weekend of lives, where our 13 school idols took to the stage for the last leg of their tie-in live series for season 2! We got much of the same, but just as much new/unexpected content from this past weekend! Definitely a must-watch!

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club First Live “with You” [720p h.265]

The first part of Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone, and with it came a surprise from Team ONIBE! With season 2 of the anime incorporating their own version of First Live “with You”, they decided to drop their 1L sub just in time for season 2’s tie-in live.

I just uploaded the 1080p version, but I wanted to make sure there was a 720p version available for those who really need every last bit of free space on their systems. This version shaves an additional ~5 GB off of the 1080p version while maintaining as much fidelity as I could.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club First Live “with You” [1080p h.265]

The first part of Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone, and with it came a surprise from Team ONIBE! With season 2 of the anime incorporating their own version of First Live “with You”, they decided to drop their 1L sub just in time for season 2’s tie-in live.

I’m surprised at how much the file size just dropped on this one. Usually I might get ~10 GB savings by re-encoding it in H.265, but this encode more than halved it, coming in at a lean 21 GB and some change. I do also plan on doing a 720p version for those that need the extra space, but I need to make sure that encode job doesn’t bump into Next Tokimeki, as that’ll be my top priority once I can grab the archives of those.

Nijigasaki is BACK!!!

This past weekend saw the first leg of Nijigasaki’s 5th Live, Colorful Dreams! Colorful Smiles!, come and go, and wow was it great to see them back on stage! Everyone’s shown just how much they’ve powered up, even despite a couple minor injuries/ailments.

I finally had some time to do some more h.265 encodes of some of the recent lives! It’s the last of the Nijigasaki Live & Fan Meeting events, ending off with relative newcomers R3BIRTH! They killed it, though, and I don’t know where the energy came from for some of the later songs in their set.
