Love Live! Series Presents Unit Koshien 2024 (1080p)

I know I always open with this, but what a weekend.

I really hope the LoveLive! Series does more cross-series events because this was so much fun. We got to see each group show off a selection of their own units’ songs, as well as participate in some pretty insane collabs?

We got to sneak peek the new Liella subunit songs on D1, had a typical DiverDiva moment on D2, got SAINT AQOURS SNOW for the first time in years (to a massive crowd reaction as well!!), and (my personal favorites) Nonfiction and Deep Resonance collabs during D2’s extra innings portion. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Everyone killed it, even despite a couple groups being shorthanded.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 6th Live! I love You ⇆ You love Me (Aichi Leg) (1080p)

Can you believe it’s already been six numbered lives for Nijigaku? Where has the time gone?!

This live brought Coco Hayashi to her first numbered live as a member of Nijigasaki and, while still a bit of a touchy subject for me personally, I’m so happy to see how well Hayamaru’s doing and how much the community has embraced her as the new Setsuna. And you’d best believe she showed us why she is suited for the role this weekend. Wow!

Along with that came some silly C&R antics, a silent Chiemi, the new solo songs, and plenty of throwbacks to keep us on our toes.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club UNIT LIVE! ~R3BIRTH R3VOLUTION~ (Day.1&2)

WOW!

I honestly cannot say I expected what happened this past weekend to happen. R3BIRTH Shuffle Fes? Check! Zensoku Dreamer Hell Ver. again? Yup! Vroom Vroom and the b-sides finally being performed live? You bet! Basically, to say this live exceeded my expectations is an understatement, and I’m so happy these three are a combo. Chaotic as they may be sometimes, they put on one hell of a show!

Go recharge your Tokimeki energy with R3BIRTH in the first of four unit lives. Although they haven’t announced whether there will be a stream for the other three units, if there is like I expect there to be, I’ll be purchasing admission to all of them.

HELLO AGAIN!

I finally had some time to do some more h.265 encodes of some of the recent lives! It’s the last of the Nijigasaki Live & Fan Meeting events, ending off with relative newcomers R3BIRTH! They killed it, though, and I don’t know where the energy came from for some of the later songs in their set.
