Liella! Season 1 Opening and Ending Online Release Event [1080p h.265]

It feels a little late to be posting this, considering we’re now officially two seasons (with a third on the way) and four new members up from where we were when this event happened, but this was one of the few items from the ONIBE collection of uploads that I had not yet touched.

Hop in your time capsule and teleport back to the first major live event Liella put on, where they introduced themselves, their music, and began the journey on which many of us has joined them.

I was able to chop the file size down from 9.89 GB to 3.59 GB, all while retaining almost all visual fidelity. In the future, I plan on calculating PSNR, SSIM, and VMAF scores for my re-encodes to provide metrics on exactly how close to the original version my encode looks.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 5th Live! Nijigasaku Basho ~Next TOKIMEKI~ (Day.1&2)

Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone! 🙁

We’ve just wrapped up the most recent weekend of lives, where our 13 school idols took to the stage for the last leg of their tie-in live series for season 2! We got much of the same, but just as much new/unexpected content from this past weekend! Definitely a must-watch!

Apologies ahead of time for any quality issues. This was ripped from PIA, so we get to deal with the quality they provided us for the VOD.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club First Live “with You” [720p h.265]

The first part of Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone, and with it came a surprise from Team ONIBE! With season 2 of the anime incorporating their own version of First Live “with You”, they decided to drop their 1L sub just in time for season 2’s tie-in live.

I just uploaded the 1080p version, but I wanted to make sure there was a 720p version available for those who really need every last bit of free space on their systems. This version shaves an additional ~5 GB off of the 1080p version while maintaining as much fidelity as I could.

This has been tested with the latest versions of VLC Media Player and MPV as of 9/13/22.

The first part of Nijigasaki’s 5th live has come and gone, and with it came a surprise from Team ONIBE! With season 2 of the anime incorporating their own version of First Live “with You”, they decided to drop their 1L sub just in time for season 2’s tie-in live.

I’m surprised at how much the file size just dropped on this one. Usually I might get ~10 GB savings by re-encoding it in H.265, but this encode more than halved it, coming in at a lean 21 GB and some change. I do also plan on doing a 720p version for those that need the extra space, but I need to make sure that encode job doesn’t bump into Next Tokimeki, as that’ll be my top priority once I can grab the archives of those.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a re-encode! I totally missed that this came out and was a little late to the party as a result, but now that I have an extra device to handle encoding, the task overall is much easier!

This live was super special at the time, and we didn’t even realize it going into it. This was the last time we’d see Kinchan for a while on a live, and we got that GLORIOUS KimiKoko center shot, which absolutely made the rest of my year.

Again, massive thanks to Team ONIBE for taking the time to sub and time these for our enjoyment. Hopefully, my re-encodes (especially this 720p one) help you save a little space here and there.
