Time for a throwback! I’ve had the early lives planned for re-encoding for a while, but was never able to get around to it. I’ve finally completed re-encoding this one, though, and although it didn’t save a ton of storage space, it did shrink it down enough to make it worth uploading.

All the goodness of the 2nd live, now in a smaller file size! I’m going to be slowly working my way through 720p versions of the lives, but the first request for a 720p version came on the 2L 1080p version, so I figured that would be a good place to start!

So many new songs and costumes and ahhh!! Sensory overload!

Fifth Live’s actually the only one I’m yet to watch in full, but I wanted to make sure everyone who wanted to watch it but needed just a little extra space on the devices could still enjoy it. I wasn’t able to crunch it down as far as I’d hoped I would but I still managed to cut off enough to make a significant enough difference in the file size.

I’m not crying, you’re crying! (If you can’t tell, I’m still reeling from the Day 2 Online Viewing of 4L)

I’ve requested and received permission to re-encode Team ONIBE’s TLs of Aqours’ Fourth Love Live in h.265.

Shrinking this live while still preserving video and audio quality was a bit of a challenge and took quite a bit of trial and error to dial it in, but I finally found the right settings and was able to take a pretty decent chunk out of the original file size on the h.264 encoded version.

Seeding is always appreciated, so Thank You, FRIENDS!! that stick around to seed and help keep these alive.

I’ve requested and received permission to re-encode Team ONIBE’s TLs of the Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over The Rainbow in h.265.

I wanted to see how much smaller I could get this file without sacrificing much, if any, video quality and I’m happy to say that was very successful in doing so, reducing the original 1080p h.264 file by almost 4 GB!

I’ve included three different versions. One of them has both the karaoke and the non-karaoke versions softsubbed, another has the karaoke version hardsubbed, and the other has the non-karaoke version hardsubbed. This gives you the ability to download any or all versions, depending on which version(s) you want to use, since pretty much every modern torrent application lets you pick and choose which files you want.

I’ve requested and received permission to re-encode Team ONIBE’s TLs of Aqours’ Third Love Live in h.265.

This encode played very nicely with the h.265 encoder. As such, I was able to successfully cut about half the storage size out of the files without sacrificing much, if any, visual fidelity.

I’ve requested and received permission to re-encode Team ONIBE’s TLs of Aqours’ Second Love Live in h.265.

With the original h.264 encodes, the 1080p files were a bit on the large side. By re-encoding them in h.265 MKV containers, I was able to cut down on most of the original file size quite a bit, making it easier for people who want to enjoy the full HD lives to fit the files on their devices. These ones were a bit tougher to fine tune than First Live, but I’m happy with the amount of file size reduction I was able to achieve without sacrificing much, if any, visual fidelity.
